Please see the guidance below to confirm arrangements for Year 12 Mock Exams.

  • Students have not been granted study leave and therefore their lessons will continue as normal until they have sat ALL of their mock exams. Students should come to school each day prepared to revise during lessons, especially when they are attending lessons where they have already sat their mock exam, as they will be expected to revise for the remaining exams during this time. Students will only be allowed to stop attending lessons when they have completed all of their mock exams. Clearly this will be different for each student, and therefore any gained time should be used to prepare for their forthcoming work experience placements. We strongly recommend they contact their placement and also do a practice run of getting there!
  • During this mock exam period, ALL BTEC students to attend ALL BTEC lessons all week. Students will only be able to excuse themselves from BTEC lessons if they are following a mixed academic and vocational pathway (A Levels and BTEC’s) and are sitting an exam during lesson time
  • The only exception is that all Maths students are to continue to attend all maths lessons as they must complete their coursework during this time – this time cannot be made up in September and it is crucial students follow their teacher’s guidance and deadline dates here please. This does mean that students are expected to come in for maths lessons even if they have completed all of their mock exams.

Future Dates for your diary

Monday 26th – Friday 30th June – there will be NO yr 12 lessons as all students are on work experience.
